Mix egg yolk and milk together well. In a saucepan, mix together dry ingredients until well blended, Slowly stir in milk/egg mixture taking care to not make lumps. Heat over low flame and continue until mixture thickens.
For Sean's banana creme pie, omit chocolate. Place banana slices on bottom of baked crust, pour pudding over, then beat egg whites, and add sugar, and pour over filling, then brown under low broiler heat.
