Pre heat oven to 325 lightly spray baker with cooking spray. Whisk together eggs half and half 1/4 cup of the sugar and vanilla. Place half the bread in a baker tops with chocolate chips and remaining bread. Slowly pour the egg mixture over the bread let stand 10 minutes sprinkle the top with the remaining sugar. Bake 35 - 40 minutes or until the top is deep golden brown . Remove from the oven let stand 10 minutes and drizzle with melted chocolate if desired
