In medium sized saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate with milk, water, vanilla, and salt.
Stirring CONSTANTLY until chocolate is melted.
Continue cooking but raise heat to moderate and stir CONSTANTLY until mixture comes to a full boil.
Whisk CONSTSNTLY until thickened (approximately 3-4 minutes)
Can add 1 tablespoon brandy, Kahlua or Amaretto, if you like
This Sauce can be refrigerated and kept up to one month.
Reheat by placing in a container in a pan of simmering water or put sauce in top of double boiler.
