Put butter, water, shortening and cocoa in pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Add flour and sugar, beat well. Add eggs, beat well.
Add soda and vanilla to buttermilk. Then add to above and beat well.
5. Pour into greased and floured sheet cake pan.
6. Bake for 20 mins. at 400°F.
Put butter, cocoa and milk in pan and boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar and beat until smooth. Add nuts and vanilla.
Spread while warm.
