1. In a 2 quart saucepan combine whipping cream, chocolate chips, butter & sugar. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until chocolate is melted; about 10 min. Remove from heat.
2. Gradually stir about 1/2 of the hot mixture into the beaten egg yolks. Return egg mixture to saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is slightly thickened & nearly bubbly.
3. Stir in 3 tablespoons whipping cream. Place saucepan in a bowl of ice water; stir occasionally until mixture stiffens & becomes hard to stir. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Beat with mixer on med-high for 2-3 minutes until light & fluffy. Spread into crust. Cover & chill for at least 5 hours.
4. At serving time top each slice of pie with Whip Cream topping.
