Mix together flour, soda, salt, and set aside for later.
Mix sugar, brown sugar and margarine in large mixing bowl.
Gradually add peanut butter while still mixing.
Add egg, milk and vanilla as you continue to mix. ...
Continue to mix and gradually add flour mixture.
Take batter and shape into 48 evenly divided balls.
Roll into sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart.
Bake approximately 10 minutes at 375o.
Upon removing from oven, press candy kiss or star in the center of the cokie.
Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
Also known as Peanut Blossom Cookies. These are my family's favorite cookies! You want to use Brach's Chocolate Stars (they can be ordered from Brach's website), they are much better than Hersey's kisses but kisses can be used if necessary.
