Snijd de chorizo in dunne plakjes en bak op matig vuur krokant. Snijd de zoete aardappels in blokjes die twee keer zo groot zijn als de gesneden groenten. Roer de gesneden groenten door de chorizo, zet het vuur laag en bak tot de groenten zacht zijn. Giet er 1 liter kokend water bij en laat 10 minuten pruttelen. Voeg de sperziebonen in stukken van 2 cm toe en laat nog 10 minuten pruttelen.
Roer de room erdoor en breng op smaak. Stamp de crackers fijn en strooi de kruimels over de soep.
