Line a 9"x15" pan with aluminum foil. Cover with a single layer of crackers.
In a small pot, heat butter and brown sugar over medium heat until mixture boils.
Boil for exactly 3 minutes.
Pour over crackers and spread mixture to form an even layer.
Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
Pour chocolate chips over toffee after removing from the oven.
Let stand for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes and when chocolate has melted spread over toffee.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans. (lightly press into chocolate)
Refrigerate for one hour.
Break in to pieces.
Store in an air tight container.
