In a separate bowl, combine butter and sugar. Add baking mix and beat vigorously for 20 strokes.
Preheat oven 400 degrees F. Lightly grease cooking sheet.
Round up the dough on lightly floured board, knead 5 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick - cut with floured doughnut cutter. Twist doughnut to make a figure-eight.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately after baking dip in melted butter then into sugar let cool.
