Let's face it, on a LCHF diet you still occasionally miss the sweet, delectable taste of granola. Uh, have you looked at the back of a box of modern granola? YUCK! This works as a great sweet treat, as bars, or tossed up into granola form. Voila! Dessert and snack, all in one.
1. Preheat over to 350 F - and pull a large bowl to mix. Now mix flour, sugar, baking powder.
2. Gently cut the butter into the flour mixture and mix until the texture resembles coarse crumbs. Now add the walnuts, hemp seeds, coconut flakes, sunflower seeds and chocolate.
3. In a large pie pan, place granola mixture in. Then, top with chopped strawberries. (If you prefer, if you do have a sugar free jam it would be EXTRA gooey and amazing to mix in)
4. Bake for roughly 25 mins or until the mixture looks golden, cooked to desired crunchy preference. Remove once cooked, if using a bars, place in the refrigerator until firm enough to cut into pie bars. If using as granola, let cool for 15 mins at room temperature before breaking up into granola.
5. ENJOY!
