Place Chicken in heavy large pan. Add Cold water to cover and bring to simmer. Cook till tender, about 15 min. Drain and cool chicken. Cut chiken into cubes.
Heat oil in same pan over medium-high heat. Add onions and saute till translucent, About ten minuets. Stir in garlic, chilies, cumin, oregano, and cyenne pepper and saute 2 minuets longer.
Add undrained beans and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add chicken and cheese to chili and stir until chesse melts.
