Delicious. These cookies are simply delicious. They are flakey, chewy, and tastey... they remind me of crinkles from our local bakery.
1ST BOWL
Cream together sugar, butter, and vanilla. Stir in flour until it comes together.
Flatten the dough and cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.
Lightly flour a piece of parchment paper and roll the dough out into a 9x13 inch rectangle (the size of a casserole dish).
2ND BOWL
Whisk egg white and water until foamy. Brush onto pastry.
3RD BOWL
Stir together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the dough.
Starting with the long edge, roll into a log. Freeze until firm (about 2 hours).
Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 14 pieces. Transfer to a parchment covered baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool.
4TH BOWL
Whisk together sugar, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
