Suggest a better descriptionMix milk, yeast and sugar; let stand 2 minutes. Stir in salt, butter and 3 cups of flour. Mix smooth and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in 2 1/2 cups of remaining flour. Put dough on a well-floured surface and knead 8-10 minutes., until smooth and elastic. Adding only as much flour as needed to prevent dough from sticking. Place dough in buttered bowl; turn to bring buttered side up. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in volume, about 1 hour. Mix filling ingredients. Grease two 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pans. Punch douh down, put on a lightly floured surface and cut in half. Roll one piece into a rectangle about 10 x 10". Spread half the filling over the dough, leaving a 1/2" border. Starting with one short side, roll up dough tightly jely-roll style. With wet fingertips pinch all seams closed. Place in prepared pan. Repeat with remaining dough. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in volume, about 35 minutes. Put in unheated oven and turn on oven to 375. Bake 40-45 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped on bottom. Remove from pans and cool.
