Suggest a better descriptionSoften yeast in water, combine hot milk, sugar, salt, and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Stir in 2 c. flour-beat well. Add softened yeast; mix. Add enough remaining flour to make stiff dough. Knead until smooth-10 minutes. Cover and let rise till double. Roll dough into 2 15x7 rectangles. Combine 1/2 c. sugar and 1 T. cinnamon and spread half over each rectangle. Sprinkle 1-1/2 t. water over each. Roll into loaves, cover and let rise till double. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
