1. Cream sugar and butter together, mixing well.
2. Beat in egg.
3. Add flour gradually, stirring well.
4. Stir in orange rind, lemon rind and chopped nuts.
5. Shape into balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
6. Press flat with a floured fork.
6a. (Or, use a flat bottomed tumbler to get a "round" cookie)
7. Bake at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes.
8. Let cool slightly and then move to a cooling rack.
