Melt butter in saucepan with garlic over low heat. Drain clams, reserving liquid. Turn off heat under butter and let sit for 10 minutes. Remove garlic. Add minced clams and spices and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. Add clam liquid and wine and heat just to boiling. Serve over hot linguine or spaghetti.
