Cook pasta, keep 1 cup and drain rest
Trim kernels off corn cobs
Cook garlic in olive oil
Add clams, white wine, corn kernals and corn cobs, red pepper, 1/2 tsp salt and cover. Increase heat to high and cook for 7 minutes
Discard unopened clams and cobs
Add to pan butter, lemon zest, pasta and add a little pasta water to loosen sauce
Stir in parsley, season with salt and pepper
