Cook noodles, brown meat and sausage, drain.
Add tomato soup, sauce, paste. Add spices, water, and onion. mix well and cook 1 hour.
To assemble. Pour 1/2 cup sauce on 2, 9x9 pans. Layer noodles, mozzarella, and sauce, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and spinach. Add layer of cottage cheese in the middle. Repeat, ending with mozzarella and sauce. Seal one with foil and freeze for later use.
Bake 375? for 40 min, let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Lots of work, but worth it. You make 2 and freeze one.
