Cloud Nine's homemade chili
Ground beef should be browned with onions and garlic (don't add those to the other ingredients if already in beef).
Make sure the ground beef is drained of grease before proceeding (should be if already cooked in advance).
Add remaining ingredients
Bring to boil, then turn down and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
If beef has to be cooked (instead of already cooked and packaged with onions/garlic ahead of time), then it should be 5 lbs of uncooked beef with 2.5 cups of chopped onions and 2.5 tablespoons of garlic. This should yield approx. 4 - 4.25 lbs cooked.
