Classic Betty Crocker cobbler recipe. Very easy and really good! I often substitute other fruit - peaches, blueberries, strawberries, etc.
Mix fruit with sugar and let it stand while mixing the other items. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and milk in greased 9X13 casserole dish. Stir in butter until well blended. Spoon fruit/sugar mixture over the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes - until the crust is golden brown. Be sure to mix the dry ingredients with the milk for a while and get it as smooth as you can - there will be a few lumps. Then mix in the butter and mix it until it is completely mixed in with the batter.
