Cocktail Meatballs
COCKTAIL MEATBALLS?From: Christie Westermann
Meatballs:
2lbs lean ground beef (don’t use extra lean or sirloin or the meatballs will be dry)
1 package onion soup mix
salt/pepper to taste
1 egg
¾ c. bread crumbs
Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls. Place uncooked meatballs in 13X9 glass pan.
Sauce:
12 oz. jar of Chili Sauce (Heinz – looks like ketchup)
12 oz. can of sauerkraut drained
1 jar of water (rinse chili sauce jar)
1c. brown sugar
12 oz. can of whole cranberry sauce
Mix all ingredients together and pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered for 1 hour @ 350°.
