Mix sugar and water. Boil mixture. Add coconut to mixture. Continue heating till mixture is semi-dry. Remove mixture from heat. Add milk powder to mixture. Mix in vanilla extract. Pour mixture onto a dish with wax paper on it. Cool the mixture and cut it into squares.
