Preheat oven to 350°F
Cream together 2 sticks of margarine, 1 1/2 cups of sugar, and 3 eggs.
Sift together 3 cups of flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder, and1/4 teaspoon salt.
Add 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla to the cream mixture , and mix well.
Divide into 2 loaf pans that are greased and floured. Put crumbs on top and bake.
