Suggest a better descriptionCook your steaks to taste. Save and use the drippings in the pan and turn off flame if you have a gas stovetop (so it doesn't flame when you add Cognac). Add Cognac to deglaze pan (note: if the drippings have too much oil you can remove some of the oil). Turn flame back on. Add beef broth and reduce by half. Add Cream and reduce by half. Drizzle sauce over the tops of steaks.
