Prepare vegetables according to package directions. Drain. Place 1/2 in 7x11 baking dish. In a small saucepan, combine cheese and 4 tbs butter. Cook and stir over low heat until melted. Pour 1/2 over vegetables. repeat layers.
Melt remaining butter and toss with cracker crumbs. Sprinkle over top. Bake uncovered at 325 for 25 minutes.
