Make yellow cupcakes as directed in recipe except place paper baking cup in each of 30 regular size muffin cups.sprinkle batter in each cup with 1 heaping teaspoon chopped candies.Bake and cool as directed in recipe (if baking cupcakes in batches, cover and refrigerate batter until ready to use.)in 2 quart saucepan, mix 1 cup granulated sugar and cocoa .Stir in 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup butter and corn syrup .heat to boiling over medium high heat,stirring frequently. Boil 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the heat; beat in vanilla and enough powdered sugar with spoon until frosting is smooth and spreadable . Frost cupcakes garnish each with 5 candy coated with m&ms.
