Mix butter, cocoa, and sugar; add eggs and beat well, Add flour, salt and vanilla and mix.
Bake in a 9" by 12" pan, or halve recipe and bake in an 8" square pan. Large pan- 25-30 min. at 350 degrees, small pan 20 min.
