Preheat oven to 170C. Line 2 baking trays
Beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until fluffy.
Gradually and gently fold in the flour then nuts and chocolate
Drop heaped tablespoons of batter (about 6 to a tray)
Bake approximately 17 minutes until lightly browned and tops look dry
Leave on tray for a few minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
