Suggest a better description1. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
2. In a large bowl with a mixer, cream together the butter and the sugars until fluffy. Add the vanilla and the egg and heat until combined.
3. Add the salt and then the flour in small amounts, mixing until just incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop cookies into cookie sheets. Do not overcrowd.
4. Bake at 350F for 8-12 minutes, until edges are set. Remove from oven let cool on sheet.
