Suggest a better descriptionRender bacon in heavy dutch oven pot.
Add in onion and stir and cook 3-4 minutes.
Add butter and melt then add corn & chiles and stir and cook for a minute or two.
Pour in broth and cream, add salt & pepper to taste.
Stir and bring to a boil. reduce heat to low.
Mix corn meal with water and stir in to chowder to thicken.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
If it needs more thickening add additional corn meal slurry and cook for 10 minutes more.
Crusty bread bowls makes a nice presentation and meal.
