Childhood delicacy of fried bread with corn kernels inside.
1. Heat oil (3-4 inches in pot) to 375 degrees in a Dutch oven or oil frying pan
2. Mix remaining ingredients (except corn) in a mixing bowl by hand until combined. Fold in sweet corn
3. Drop batter into hot oil in two tablespoon amounts using two kitchen spoons. One to scoop and one to push batter off one spoon and into the oil
4. Fry for 5 minutes or until deep golden brown
5. Drain on paper towels and lightly season with salt
A thinner batter will fry quicker. If you need a thinner batter add more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time.
