Combine meal and salt. Add water. Melt fat in baking pan. Pour extra grease in mixture Stir. Mix should not be more than 1 inch thick in pan. To make the mix rise like cornbread add 2 teas baking powder. It will take 50-60 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
