Preheat ovent to 350?. Butter 12 6 oz ramakins. Set aside.
Melt butter, add onions and saute until very soft, about 12 min.
Mix flour and stir 4 min. Transfer to bowl and cool to lukewarm. Add eggs to onion mixture and shisk to blend. Mix in corn, milk and salt. Season w/pepper
Divide batter evenly between prepared dished. Bake puddings until knife inserted comes out clean, about 1 hour.
