Suggest a better descriptionPlace 1 recipe Cornmeal Biscuit Mix in a medium mixing bowl. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture. Add 2/3 cup milk all at once to dry mixture. Using a fork, stir just till moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Quickly knead dough by gently folding and pressing it for 10 to 12 strokes or till dough is nearly smooth. Pat or lightly roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut the dough with a floured 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter, dipping the cutter into flour between cuts. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or till golden. Remove biscuits from baking sheet and serve hot. Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
