Saute garlic and onion in oil in skillet until tender. Add ground beef stirring until crumbly. Add tomato paste, seasonings, and 3 cups hot water. Blend well. Simmer 30 minutes. Alternate layers of sauce mix with lasagna noodles and cheese. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
