This is a wonderful, pretty bread for serving at a dinner party.
Cottage Cheese Dill Bread
Dissolve yeast in warm water. In large microwave-proof bowl heat cottage cheese, sugar, dill, onion, butter, salt and milk to lukewarm (125°-130°). Add dissolved yeast, soda and beaten eggs; beat well.
Add 1 ½ c. of flour; beat well. Add remaining flour–enough to make a firm dough. Turn onto floured board and knead well. Let rise in oiled bowl until doubled. Knead again and shape into 3 small loaves. Let rise and bake 5 min. at 400°. Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking for another 25 – 30 min.
