Suggest a better description*or sweetner equivalent to 6 teaspoons brown sugar. Squirt a heavy skillet with nonstick cooking spray, add the ginger and soy sauce and heat over medium heat. Add the green peppers and carrots. Cover and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Add small bits of water or dry white wine to prevent sticking if necessary. Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover and remove from the heat. Let stand immediately. Fluff with a fork before serving. This is a really good basic recipe, that can be used for any grain.
