My mom's recipe
Sift together:
flour
sugar
b. soda
b. powder
salt
Mix together:
juice of 1 orange rind
shortening
egg
then add hot water to make 3/4 cup
Mix flour mixture and shortening mixture together. Add nuts and cranberries
Bake 1 hr.
