1. Combine cranberries, apple juice, sugar and allspice in medium-size non-reactive pan.
2. Bring to boiling.
3. Lower heat; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes until cranberries pop.
4. Add chopped apple. Cook 5 minutes more.
Serve warm or chilled.
Double when all of the family is present.
