Drain juice from can of crushed pineapple. Need 1 cup of juice, if there's not enough pineapple juice, add enough orange juice to make 1 cup of juice.
In a large glass bowl, bring juice to a boil in the microwave. Add jello mix to hot juice, stirring until dissolved.
While juice mixture is still hot, add whole berry cranberry sauce and dried cranberries. Stir until cranberry sauce is melted.
Stir in lemon juice, drained crushed pineapple and nuts.
Pour into pans or a dish and chill. Pans or dish may be lined with plastic before pouring mixture into it. After salad is chilled, cover and keep chilled until serving.
You can use cranberry, strawberry or raspberry flavored jello with good results. If you're having problems finding dried cranberries, "original" Crazens are dried cranberries.
This salad may be frozen for several weeks, if wrapped tightly in plastic, or stored in air tight container.
