As a perfectly balanced blend of cranberry, orange and nuts, this is a crisp & refreshing side dish for those special holiday dinners, relaxing summer barbeques or just because. Yep, it's that good!
Dissolve jello in boiling water & set aside at room tempurature. In food processor, grind half of all remaining ingredients to rough pulp. Pour into separate bowl and grind other half of same ingredients. Combine bowl of first half into processor with second half. Pour in jello. & grind to blend using pulse as not to sling juice all over. Pour mixture into serving dish and refrigerate over night.
You can use either walnuts or pecans, whichever you most prefer. I personally prefer pecans as they seem to be more consistant on flavor (not as bitter like a walnut can get) and do not overwhelm the dish.
