Combine flour and baking soda in a bowl.
Beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and instant pudding with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in the first egg, then beat in the vanilla and the second egg. Mix in the flour mixture and then fold in the chips and cranberries. Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-14 minutes until edges become golden brown.
