Preheat oven to 350.
Unroll 1 can of crescent. press into 13x9 greased pan.
Beat cream cheese, vanilla, egg, and 1/2 c sugar until well blended.
Spread in pan.
Cover with remaining sheet of crescent dough.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes until golden brown.
Combine remiainf 1/4 c suagr with cinnamon and sprinkle on top before cutting in squares.
