From mom's Home Ec. class
Prepare thin white sauce. Melt butter in sauce pan. Add flour and salt. Stir until the mixture is a smooth paste. Add the milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until the white sauce thickens and is smooth, continuing to stir.
In a separate pot, add potatoes and seasoning, onion and celery to water. Cook, covered, for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain the potatoes and save liquid. Combine white sauce and potatoes with liquid and heat to serving temperature.
Serve piping hot!
