A delicious creamy sweet treat like grandma made
Sift the sugar into a large bowl and add the milk stir untill well mixed...The mixture will become quite stiff.
Now add the coconut and again mix well
Split the mixture into two equal parts add a drop of colouring into one part and knead untill pink
For each part follow the instructions below.........
Turn out onto a marble board or similar dusted with icing sugar
With your hands mould into a long rectangle
Dust a rolling pin and lightly roll the mixture untill it's around 2cm thick
Place one part on top of the other and lightly roll the top too stuck the two colours together
Now straighten and trim up
Leave at room temp to dry out around 3-4 hrs
If mixture is too wet add more sugar
