Shred the cabbage, carrots, and onions. Place in large bowl.
Combine mayo, sour cream, vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar in a separate bowl. Mix well.
Add wet ingredient to the cabbage mix. Toss well, so the cabbage mix is well-coated.
Put in refrigerator to chill.
