A thick, hearty, garlic sauce good for mashed potatoes, chicken, etc.
1. In large saucepan, melt butter.
2. Saute garlic over medium heat for 1 minute (until garlic tender).
3. Remove from heat.
4. Stir in flour, blend until smooth.
5. Return to heat and gradually add half and half.
6. Stir in cheese and parsley.
7. Heat until sauce becomes thick but smooth.
*8. Salt to taste.
