A crepe is a very thin pancake that is delicious when filled with your favorite things.
1. Sift together flour, sugar and salt, set aside. In a large bowl beat together eggs and milk with an electric mixer in a large bowl. Beat in flour mixture until smooth. Stir in melted butter.
2.Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 2 tablespoons for each crepe. Tip and rotate the pan to spread the batter as thinly as possible. Brown on both sides fill with whatever you want to and serve hot.
A crepe can be filled with anything and can make a delicious meal. My favorite dinner crepe is a chicken and mushroom (will post chocken and muchroom crepes recipe soon) crepe. For breakfast you can fill a crepe with honey or nutella (and strawberries). For dessert you can fill it with anything sweet like melted chocolate, fried ice cream or fried apples. Would love to hear which crepe you have tried in comments.
