Suggest a better descriptionStir together flour and sugar. Add butter and knead til smooth. Add walnuts and vanilla. Knead well. Wrap and chill 1 hour until firm. Divide in 36 equal pieces. Roll each piece into 3 1/2" log, then taper ends. Bend into crescent. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes til lightly browned. (Can roll in confections sugar or a mixture of cinnamon and sugar while still warm if desired.)
