Suggest a better descriptionIn a large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. Melt butter with milk, then add the oil and cool to lukewarm. Mix yeast with sugar and water and proof until bubbly. to the butter mixture add the eggs and yeast and mix well. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients using the reserved flour until dough is easy to handle. Let dough rest, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Knead for about 3-5 minutes. Place in a well greased and floured 3 qt. pan. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Bake for about 35-40 minutes @ 375 or until a toothpick in center comes out clean. When top begins to brown brush with egg wash and place back in oven to complete cooking process.
